We admit it. After two nights of covering the Lady Liberty Enhancement Scandal That Wasn’t, our art department finally snapped.
They’ve mocked up a concept rendering—“for Donald J. Trump’s consideration only”—of what the Statue of Liberty might look like if subjected to a Fox News-fueled makeover: liberty, but with…implants. (Tastefully robed, naturally.)
At the risk of being accused of being misogynistic by the misandry, we’d like to say this was all in the name of satire. But let’s be honest: it was also inevitable. Once you step into the world of covfefe logic, someone has to draw the line. And by “draw,” we mean literally draw.
We know. It’s in poor taste. It’s ridiculous. It’s possibly unpatriotic.
But hey—there’s no such thing as taking a joke too far.
