🛑 The legitimization of Franco by Republican presidents serves as a warning: fascism does not need to wear a swastika to be accepted—it only needs to be useful.
And today, the Republican Party has found its useful fascist in Donald J. Trump.
Let’s be clear: Trumpism is not just political rot. It is a Christo-fascist movement masquerading as patriotism, rooted in racial grievance, armed delusion, and the violent myth of divine authority. It is the bastard child of American exceptionalism and Evangelical Christian Nationalism, drunk on power and itching to declare holy war on truth itself.
This isn’t theoretical. GOP leaders are openly planning to dismantle democratic institutions, weaponize the military against civilians, ban books, jail political opponents, and crush bodily autonomy—while cloaking every brutal intention in the language of God and country.
Where is the outrage from the Vatican? Where is the moral line? Pope Francis has condemned neoliberalism and climate destruction, but where is the fire against white Christian nationalism? When will Rome denounce the fascist theology devouring the soul of American Christianity? Or is the silence just another compromise with Caesar?
Because we are not just watching a party decay—we are watching a religion mutate into a death cult. And if the Catholic Church cannot speak up now, while Bible-waving strongmen plot a second coup in broad daylight, then it has failed the very Christ it claims to serve.
We do not need sermons. We need excommunication. We need holy fire.
