They called us alarmists. Said we were bitter. Told us to calm down and trust the process.

That was the Bush era. The rise of what we called the Draconian Hypocritical Religious Right—back when people still had the guts to say it out loud.

I wasn’t just yelling. I was writing. Analyzing. Warning. In 2004, I published SpiritFlight—a metaphysical lens on rising fascism, written as part of my study of “The Craft of the Wise.” Where is it hosted now? On Amazon. The irony writes itself.

Then came 2006. Conspirators, Confederates, and Christians. Originally titled Theocon Nation—but the publisher didn’t know what a theocon was. The title changed, but the warning didn’t: white nationalism was being baptized, dressed in red, white, and blue, and handed a Bible as a weapon.

In 2007, Wealth, Women, and War was my last flare. A 50-year analysis of American business culture—how mediocrity, sexism, and greed hollowed out the very economy they claimed to worship. I said it would crash. Months later, it did. No one apologized.

And then, I stopped. Nobody listened. Nobody bought the books. Nobody cared.

So if I sound angry now, it’s because I earned that anger.
I documented this descent before the rest of the country even knew what was coming.

I warned you.
I published it.
And when the storm hit, they were too busy laughing at the smoke.

Occupy 2.5 exists for the next generation of ignored voices.
Not to predict collapse—but to make damn sure the guilty don’t get away with pretending they didn’t see it coming.
