Democracy, Political Reform, The Dead Republic

Let me be perfectly clear to the establishment — I’m not going anywhere. You’ve spent fifty years trying to grind the resistance down to dust, but the people you dismissed as “radicals” are the only ones who ever told you the truth. We told you what was coming. We warned you that unchecked power — whether it wears a red hat or a blue tie — would rot this country from the inside out.

The rot runs deeper than party lines. The Republican project has embraced open fascism, but the Democratic establishment has too often sold survival as progress. They hand us half-measures and call it victory. They tell us to be grateful we’re not starving while they’re selling off the kitchen.

I’ve been fighting this same fight since 1968 — not left versus right, but power versus people. It’s the same story, just new packaging: the elites clutching the podium while the rest of us are told to “vote harder” and “wait our turn.” That’s not democracy — that’s managed decline.

And I’m here to say: we can do better.

We don’t have to settle for managed decline. We can rebuild an America that actually works for its citizens — not for shareholders, not for dynasties, not for the next Trump or the next Clinton. A republic reborn, built on dignity, equality, and collective power.

Call it The Dead Republic if you want — because what died was the illusion that the system still worked. What’s being born in its place is something stronger, cleaner, and finally honest about who we are and what we owe each other.

Tomorrow we start again. Maybe one post, one paragraph, one note from the FOB — something that says, we’re still here, still thinking, still building. Because that’s what the long work looks like. Not hashtags, not slogans — but persistence.
