🗽 You want to talk American values? Try this: We used to have each other’s backs. Unions, shared sacrifice, a GI Bill that actually meant something. But Reagan came in like a used car salesman with a chainsaw, sold us “freedom” while handing the keys to Wall Street.
Now we live in the land of ATM America—where we bankroll the planet, police the world, and can’t even afford insulin. Meanwhile, the rich tell the poor to “work harder,” and politicians pretend to care every election cycle. Spare us.
White privilege? Try majority privilege. Every nation has it. Japan favors Japanese. India favors Indians. America favors whoever’s in the majority—except now, the majority’s broke and too divided to notice. Divide and conquer, baby. Works every time.
And still—still—we’re generous when we can be. When disaster hits, Americans show up. We donate, we volunteer, we rebuild. But the system? The system doesn’t show up for us.
It’s not about hate. It’s about betrayal. We were sold a bill of goods and left holding the debt. Time to stop pretending it’s morning in America. It’s dusk—and we need to fight for the sunrise.
